PADDY

Paddy arrived in our care a little over a year ago after being spending the last few years of his life kept outdoors. Despite his poor start in life and spending over 12 months in kennels Paddy has overcome so much!

He arrived in our care having had his whole world pulled out from under him. He was in a strange place, living in a kennel with unfamiliar people trying to walk him.

You could easily forgive Paddy for never trusting another person again but he quickly formed a strong relationship with several staff members and began to relax with us. He's now comfortable being handled for his regular health checks and is the best boy when he has to see the vet.

During Paddy's initial assessment we found him to be easily overwhelmed by other dogs but fast forward a few months and he now has several doggie friends who he walks out with regularly. He may need careful handling in busy environments but we couldn't be more proud of Paddy's progress with this issue and feel confident that with time and careful handling that Paddy will thrive in his new home.

Paddy is looking for an older family where any children are aged over 14 years old and where he would be the only pet. His new family will need to visit the centre a number of times to build a good relationship with before he goes home. He will need a secure garden with fences at least 5ft high.

Paddy truly is a wonderful dog and he deserves to find his happy ending with a family who will cherish him and know how lucky they are to have the most perfect boy!
