ZEUS

Zeus is our gorgeous 1 year old Male German Shepherd.

Zeus hasn’t had the best start in life and is looking for an owner who is willing to be patient and kind with him and has experience with larger dogs.

While Zeus may come off as confident at times it is clear to see that his past is still having some effects on him based on some of the behaviours he displays, he is an affectionate boy once he has learnt to trust his handler and will enjoy a cuddle but will let you know when he wants some alone time, so a crate would be a great investment for him.

Zeus can be unsure of new environments and people and will need you to allow him to take things slowly and at his own pace, once he has met you, he will forget his size and jump up.

Zeus is a very smart boy and will need plenty of mental stimulation when in the home, he absolutely loves his toys but will need some impulse work continuing, he will happily entertain himself with his toys, as well as enjoying a variety of enrichment especially destruction boxes.

He is dog reactive so will need help from his future adopters understanding that dogs aren’t so scary.He was doing amazing with his lead work but has regressed slightly and will need his future adopters to continue this work after adoption, as well as positive association with his harness.

Zeus needs a home with children aged 15+ and to be the only pet.

If you do adopt Zeus, you will definitely be getting an amazing boy who just needs someone to help him get over his past and be there to show him things aren’t always scary.
