LUNAR

HOW TO ADOPT FROM BATH CATS & DOGS HOMEWe’re an independent branch of the RSPCA, so please head to our website to find out more about our adoption process, and to use our application form.www.bcdh.org.uk/adopt

Lunar is a very sweet young lady who cannot wait to play with you once you are friends. She was a very nervous girl when she came to us and it has taken our team several months to encourage, use positive training methods and work with her confidence building. Once she knows you, she loves nothing more than a snuggle and tries to be a lap dog most the time enjoying fuss.  She will benefit from a quiet household that can give her the time and patience to come out of her shell. Lunar came into us as a stray, so we are not sure how much home life she has experienced. Because of this, she needs a garden to call her own to aid in housetraining and time left alone built up gradually. She enjoys her treats and loves using her food enrichment selection displaying her smart and inquisitive nature. Lunar has lots of potential and is a loving and sweet natured girl when she has approved you on her friend list. She enjoys meeting dogs and is a respectful and playful lady during play times. She would like to live with another dog to help her build confidence in new surroundings, pending successful introductions on site. Having some dog friends here has really allowed her grow and feel more comfortable in new environements.Walks are still new and a little worrying for Lunar, and she will need further guidance and encouragement on walks in quiet areas to build her confidence. Having a dog companion during her walks has proven very beneifical in her progress.Lunar is a wonderful and cheeky lady and it is very rewarding when you get to know her as you can experience her bubbly personality shine through. She can live in an adult only home and needs to live with another dog in the home.
