Rusty's ideal home

Rusty is looking for a home with active owners who will take him on lots of lovely walks. He will need his own secure garden and can live with children age 14 and over who are confident with large breed dogs. Rusty would like to be the only pet in his home but would be able to have walking friends when out and about that will tolerate a big bouncy dog. Owners with breed experience would be beneficial. Rusty jumps in and out of the car on his own and enjoys being in there! He walks nicely on his lead and was toilet trained in his previous home but may need a little reminder in his new home. Rusty will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted.

Rusty is a beautiful 2 year old German Shepherd who is looking for his new home through no fault of his own. He is a very well behaved boy who loves to explore on walks and spends most of his time with his nose on the floor sniffing all the interesting smells! He walks nicely on his lead but can be quite strong when he wants to say hello to other dogs. As he is a young boy, he still has some manners to learn when meeting other dogs and can be a bit excitable so having doggy friends to walk with will help him to learn how to socialise. He is quite an independent boy and loves trotting around our big compounds enjoying lots of sniffs and generally doing his own thing. Rusty is a really lovely boy with lots of potential to become a lovely, loyal and relaxed addition to your home.
