Mario

Mario's ideal home

Mario has been a stressy boy in kennels so it will take him some time to settle him in however he was a superstar on a recent home trial. Breed experience or knowledge would be ideal for this boy and he could live with children 16 years and over who are confident with boisterous dogs but would like there to be no young visiting children. Mario would benefit from his own secure garden and we think he would be best as the only dog but would love to meet dogs out and about and have plenty of canine friends. We think he may be a bit much for cats or small furries! He will need his leaving hours built up initially whilst he settles. Mario does have a habit of grabbing trees - this may be due to stress in kennels and he is already improving however adopters should anticipate that he may do this in their garden. Mario does have some medical issues which means he will only need a moderate exercise level so unfortunately wouldn't cope with lots of running or hiking.

Could you be Mario's perfect match?

Mario is a stunning 2 year old Shepherd Cross with bags of energy! He loves to be kept busy so would love adopters that can provide him with lots of mental enrichment! Mario is a smart boy who knows some basic tricks and he loves tasty treats too so this will be great for ongoing training with him. Mario really enjoys toys especially playing with the flirt pole or a game of tuggy, he is super strong and is quite often the winner! He loves to play in water so will enjoy trips to lakes and the beach where he can have a dip! Mario is always keen to meet his human and canine pals and after an adventure, loves to have a nice fuss and a good bum scratch from his human friends.
