Frankie's ideal home

Frankie is looking for a home in a quiet area with adopters that will be more than happy to walk at quiet times and that will invest some time to build up Frankie's confidence, and work on some social skills slowly and positively. Frankie has also been nervous around some new people and finds it stressful if he is in a busy environment with lots of new people and is looking for adopters that have minimal visitors and ideally some experience of Shepherds. We feel Frankie could live with older teenage children if they are confident around large dogs. He will need to be the only pet.

Could you be Frankie's perfect match?

Frankie is an incredibly sweet boy who has a mysterious past! He was found as a stray so we don't know anything of his history, but we believe he's about 5 years old. As we have got to know him, Frankie has gradually revealed the gentle boy behind that fluffy white coat. Frank can be unsure of new people initially and it can take him some time to feel comfortable with you but once he trusts you, he'll soon show you that soft side. It has taken Frankie time to settle into kennel life but now you can find him lying on his bed with his favourite teddies. He loves a quiet adventure where he can feel safe to explore and sniff everything without worrying about what is going on around him, as he can find busy places quite worrying. As we have no history for Frankie it's hard for us to know what his life has been like. Since getting to know him it would seem that his experience of life has been quite limited and he doesn't know how to behave around other dogs and his reactions have been mixed.
