Axel's ideal home

Axel is looking for an active family home and can live with children over the age of 16. He would like a consistent environment with minimal visitors so that he can settle at his own pace. Axel will need to be walked in low dog populated areas as dogs worry him. He will need owners who are on board with his muzzle training and understand the freedom it provides him environmentally. Axel would like his own private garden to run and play in and will need to be the only pet in the home, so that he can have all the attention to himself. If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required if you are shortlisted. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes between 7 - 10 days.

Could you be Axel's perfect match?

Axel is an 8 year old German Shepherd cross. He is an active boy and loves to go on long walks around the woods where he can do lots of sniffing. Once he gets to know you, Axel loves to play and will happily have a game of ragger - he loves to show off his strength and has mastered the skill of swapping his toys with you for another one. Axel loves his food which has been very useful when teaching him new tricks. He is a clever boy and loves to keep busy learning new things. Axel is also muzzle trained which enables him to enjoy off site walks in new places safely. After his walks he likes nothing more than a long snooze on a cozy bed.
