Milano's ideal home

Milano is looking for patient owners who will give him the space he needs to settle in. Due to needing his own space around resources he is not suitable for open plan living. He's looking for a quiet household with few visitors in a low dog populated area as Milano finds seeing other dogs out and about quite stressful. He needs direct access to his own secure garden and he must be the only pet in the home. He is looking for owners who will be around for most of the day to start with. His ideal owners will also have experience with bigger dogs with a history of resource guarding.

Milano will need to have multiple meets at the centre to help build a bond with him before he goes home. New owners need to be happy to work with our behaviour team on training programs to help settle him in the home.

Milano is a stunning boy who once he has built a close bond with his handlers loves to talk to them whilst they give him a fuss. He does have an anxious side and can initially struggle to trust people and is worried by other dogs. He enjoys a fun game of fetch and is partial to some tasty treats, but due to his dietary requirements these have to be specific. He is a warm hearted boy who needs a home that will give him the time and patience he needs to show people how lovely he can be.
